Support Access Info Europe!

There are two ways to support Access Info: by giving financial support (donations) or by giving some of your time (volunteers).

Donations

Access Info was founded in 2006 thanks to the pro bono efforts of its founder members. Since then we have been successful in raising funds for a number of our projects, including for the campaign on the Council of Europe Convention on Access to Information, for work on EU transparency, for advocacy to promote the right to information in eastern Europe, and for a number of research projects.

Some important projects are currently unfunded: the campaign to promote an access to information law in Spain, our work on aid transparency, and our helpdesk for civil society organisations who want to use their right to information. Our litigation in defence of the right to know is also unfunded.

Any contribution - even just €5 or €10 - is a useful contribution to our activities. It helps pay for our websites, for phone calls, for campaign materials etc.

If you can help us continue this important work to promote and defend the right of access to information, you can make a donation here: any contribution, however small, will be welcome and - if you agree - will be acknowledged on this website.

The bank account for receiving donations is:

Account Holder: Access Info Europe

Account (IBAN): ES9221002133990200291748

Swift Code : CAIXES BBXXX

Bank: La Caixa de Barcelona, Paseo de la Habana 5, 28036 Madrid, Spain

NB: we do not accept anonymous donations over €100. We need to know where the money is coming from, but we will not publish your name if you do not wish it to be public.

Foundations or individuals who would like to disscus in more detail how to support Access Info's work can also contact the Executive Director, Helen Darbishire by clicking here or by phoning + 34 667 685 319.

Volunteers

There are two ways to volunteer with Access Info: if you live in Madrid, you can come into our offices and help us with our daily campaign work. Alternatively, you can help us from a distance by getting friends and family involved in campaigns and by contributing your skills by activities such as translations, editing, and working on the website.
