IT support technician (Freelance)

Access Info Europe, an international human rights organisation specialising in the right of access to information, based in Madrid, is looking for an IT support technician to help the Access Info team to resolve issues with computer hardware and software.

This is a freelance position. Our office in central Madrid, so we recommend the application of people located in Madrid.

You will be working on the Access Info to provide technical problem solving, as well as collaboration with our team to ensure that the IT services they need are fully functioning.

Your task will be the maintenance and updating of the hardware and software of our computers, as well as of any devices such as printers or the Wi-Fi network.

Skills Required

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting on desktops, laptops, printers and mobile phones.
  • Website administration experience, in particular use of WordPress.
  • IT competence with solid e-mail, word-processing, and spreadsheet software experience.
  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Outlook, WordPress, and similar applications.
  • Logistics & Coordination skills

The position will have a salary that is commensurate with experience, in line with civil society salaries in Spain and the cost of living in Madrid.
