With the COVID-19 crisis, we have seen how crucial it has been to open and share data to help us navigate this pandemic. Yet, we have also seen some countries rolling back transparency measures, while others disaggregate data to dangerous levels, exposing people to harm.
Access Info Europe, together with Open Data Charter, hosted The public, the private, and our rights: lifting information out of lockdown strategy session at RightsCon online, aiming to explore the fault lines in our data ecosystem, as well as highlight good practices that help inform decisions inclusively and accountably.
