Andreas Pavlou will participate in the seventh edition of the European Conference on Public Communication (EuroPCom) held in Brussels on 20th and 21st October 2016. Over a dynamic two-day programme, communication managers and senior experts from local, regional and European authorities will discuss major challenges in both EU and public communication.
Andreas will be part of the workshop Online Transparency and Citizen Engagement” which will take part on 21st October at 11.00 A.M. The activity will focus on online citizen transparency and engagement platforms and their role as the communication bridge between citizens and politicians/ administrations. The workshop will present several such platforms, explore their views on EU and local transparency matters and offer recommendations for further stimulation of citizen engagement and enhancing transparency.
Ohter speakers will be Fabian Fechner, Co-founder of Politix EU and Adam Nyman, Director of debatingeurope.eu. The activity will be moderated by Elisa Lironi, Digital Democracy and Campaigning Coordinator at European Citizens Action Service.
