Andreas Pavlou, Campaigner and Researcher with Access Info, addressed the Cypriot Parliament’s Legal Committee regarding the need to amend the draft FOI law to remove fees for making requests and to reduce time limits for responses.
Andreas also spoke to local MPs to stress the obligation to meet European transparency standards by ensuring only limited exceptions to access.
