11th International Journalism Festival

Helen Darbishire, Executive Director of Access Info Europe, and Luisa Izuzquiza, Communications Officer, will attend to the 11th Edition of the International Journalism Festival, the biggest annual media event in Europe. The Festival will take place in Perugia between the 5th and 9th April 2017.

Helen also will participate as speaker in three panels, held on 8th April, concerning the Italian FOIA:

• Transparency check-up: first monitoring report on the Italian FOIA, where the participants will analyse the effectiveness of the new law.
• The Italian FOIA: a how-to-use-it guide, a practical workshop where the speakers will teach journalist how to effectively use the Italian FOIA.
• Your right to facts: doing journalism with a FOIA, where journalists and activists will discuss how to use the new law to improve news reporting and the obstacles still to overcome.
