In the framework of Open Government Week, held from 17-21 May, the Spanish National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) hosted an event entitled Open Government and the Media.
Helen Darbishire, Executive Director of Access Info Europe, attended this workshop which was coordinated by Cristina Monge Lasierra, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Zaragoza and Vice-President of the Open Government Forum.
The event was presented by Consuelo Sánchez Naranjo, Director General of INAP, and Olivié Bayón Céspedes, Director General of Public Governance of the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function.
Guests included senior government officials, journalists, representatives from academia, civil society and members of the Open Government Forum.
